What to expect
- This diagnostic covers a mix of FAR topics, from accrual conversions and cash flows to inventory, leases, bonds, income taxes, consolidations, and not-for-profit and government accounting
- 2 testlets: 15 multiple-choice questions, then 1 simulation. The simulation has exhibits you can open and move around, and boxes where you type your adjustments. It is a retired question released by the AICPA and is labeled as such
- Timed: 1 hour. The clock shows at the top of the test. If time runs out, you can keep going and your extra time is recorded in your results
- No login, and you can retake it as often as you like
- Flag any question to come back to it before you submit the testlet
- Once a testlet is submitted, it is final
- Your results show the topics you should work on first
Spreadsheets: the real CPA Exam includes a built-in spreadsheet tool. This practice site does not, so if a question needs a spreadsheet, use your own software, such as Excel or the free Google Sheets.
